Demi stared at him, her face discontented at first but then she sighed. "Well you got it eventually." She circled around him, like a lion on it's prey.
She then crossed her arms and stared at him, "I want you to walk from here to the door and back three times. You need to walk diligently with poise. And no slouching. Keep your hands by your sides, don't swing them. And try keeping your chest out when you walk.." she cleared her throat, "Go"

"Alright then" Hailduke propped his shoulders back and pushed out his chest. He started walking forward. It felt.. unnatural though. He tried again to push his chest out and stand tall. But again he found his back curving slightly. He sighed and breathed out.
Hailduke's eyes scanned his surroundings wondering how he was going to make it through this first test let alone impress anyone. Until his eyes landed on a bird high in the tree. The bird was tweeting loud and proud, and it's chest was pushed right out. Like it was ruffling it's feathers...
With a smile Hailduke attempted the walk again.
"Alright.. arms still, stand straight, and chest out. Like the bird.." He walked to and from the door three times, posed just right.

Demi stared at Hailduke, with an impassive look. "Alright, let's move along." Throughout the day she began teaching him the works around her Kingdom. The do's and don'ts with her family. And what other etiquette around the public.
Soon it was becoming night and Demi walked to the outside breezily without any worries. She held her dress and sat on the grass and let a long breath out.

Shuffling leaves over at the far end of the garden, was the young slave guy, that Hailduke had talked about during the day. He was quietly sweeping the leaves into a massive pile near the wall. It was pitch black, and seemed to be head down in his work.

ooc: We should make Vapour save Demi from like something so she can see the different side of him.
Demi stood up and smiled at Hailduke, "I better get going."

ooc: Alright.
Hailduke nodded in response to Demi. "Yeah, guess so. Want me to walk you home? Or will you be alright?" He asked.

Demi looked up at the sky and then back down at Hailduke, "I'll be fine. I feel like walking alone for a bit." She smiled, "Good work today. We'll continue tomorrow!" she exclaimed already making his plans.

"Okay then!" Hailduke nodded in agreement. "Well travel fast and safe." He turned to leave, before looking back one more time. "Thanks for being stubborn.." He exclaimed with a smirk. Hailduke walked back towards the castle.

Demi turned around and smiled at Hailduke and continued walking down the street. It was dark and quiet outside but she tried to keep her mind straight on going home.

Two shadow covered figures walked parallel to Demi's movements.. They were stalking.. moving quietly.. in the shadows.
The three of them approached a cross road..

Demi felt something ominous about her surroundings, as if something was on her tracks. She quickly spotted a shadow lurking behind her but was too stiff to turn around and look who it was. She gulped and as she looked around nonchalantly to see if a friendly face was around..

As the princess approached the crossroad, it seemed not turning round would lead to her downfall.. as the two figures moved in on her position from each side. Almost like they were pincers, creeping in to claim their prize. Two spiders intent on capturing the same fly. The shadows gave way to light from one lantern swinging gently in the slight breeze, and the two assailants faces became visible.
Two human hunters. They had swords, still tucked away. One carried a large wooden stick. The other, had a single calibre rifle. Old school, still wooden, but loaded with silver bullets.. It stayed aimed at Demi.
"Well, well, well. What we got here.." The man with the stick snarled.

Demi swiftly turned towards the men and couldn't take her eyes off the weapons the men were carrying. She whimpered quietly to herself as she took a step back as slowly and carefully. She tried to think of an escape route as quickly as possible but her mind was going blank and her lifeless body was going numb.
She felt her voice disappear as she attempted to scream for help, but she couldn't even open her mouth.

"It looks like one of those vermin is a little lost. Running to and from their rat holes" The man with the wooden stick snarled. "Let's put a silver bullet her way and see her scurry away after that!" The man with the rifle called, as he took aim and stepped forward. "Ready...Aim...."

Demi stepped back as the men stepped forward. She gulped and quickly covered her face with her arms waiting for the pain to be over with. I knew I shouldn't have left Hailduke's home alone..Why do I have to be so stubborn.
